A few words from Henry about the group build

Building this Vistage group has been both humbling and energizing. I am grateful to the many people throughout the Vistage community who have encouraged me, opened doors, and shared their wisdom along the way. I am especially thankful for my Senior Market Director, Daven Bond, whose guidance and steady support have been invaluable throughout this process. I am excited for what is ahead and honored to help create a space where leaders can bring real challenges, have candid conversations, and grow alongside peers who understand the responsibility of leading. No leader should lead alone, and I am grateful to be part of a community that lives that belief every day.

Working alongside Henry Miller throughout this build has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. From day one, Henry made a commitment to himself and his future, burned the ships, and never looked back. He approached every day with an unmatched level of dedication, discipline, and purpose. While his work ethic is extraordinary, what I admire most is his humility, kindness, and genuine heart for serving others. Every conversation was a joy, and every day he found a way to express gratitude. Professional background

Henry Miller is an entrepreneur, business builder, and Vistage Chair based in Charlotte, North Carolina. He brings more than three decades of experience building, scaling, and successfully exiting a national service company. In 1991, Henry and his wife, Mary, started what would become Pavement Exchange Group with a minivan, a few buckets of cold patch asphalt, and a belief that they could serve commercial clients better. Over the next 31 years, Henry grew the business into a national asphalt and concrete service company operating across 48 states and parts of Canada, serving brands including Darden Restaurants, JLL, Extra Space Storage, and Cracker Barrel. Henry sold the company to private equity in 2022 and stepped away after its second sale in 2024, proud to have built a values-driven business designed to last. A former Vistage member, Henry experienced firsthand the impact of trusted peers, honest conversation, and the right structure. Today, he brings that perspective, along with his years in the trenches, strategic insight, and belief in clarity, courage, and community, to help other CEOs grow with greater confidence.
